More About Vapor4Life

Vapor4Life was founded in 2009 by vaping enthusiast Steve “Smilin” Milin. V4L develops and distributes their products online, as well as at their “Smokeless Lounge” located in Northbrook, IL. The success of the company is due, in large part, to the development of V4L’s first
e-cig the Vapor King, a cigarette-like product with a wide range customizable options. This was followed up by the Vapor Titan, a similar design with improved features; the Vapor Zeus, a larger and more powerful device; and several more advanced e-cig models.

No matter which design you choose, V4L has a huge array of choices; various colors, different battery sizes, cartridges, tanks and 100+ e-liquids. Vapor4Life makes it really easy to customize, modify and upgrade your setup with awide selection of options.

The Vapor King & Vapor Titan

If a small, lightweight mini is your preference, Vapor4Life offers two flexible choices – the Vapor King and Vapor Titan. The Vapor King is V4L’s original electronic cigarette design with a strong and well-established reputation, while the Vapor Titan is the new updated version with a rubber ‘smooth touch’ finish and claims of improved performance and battery life.

Both versions come in short, regular and XL lengths, automatic or manual operation, jewel or ash tip, over 15 different colors – and all of components are completely interchangeable between both models.

Each version (Vapor King and Vapor Titan) is available with varying levels of components and accessories. The “Slim” starter kit provides all the essentials you need (battery, charger, case and cartomizers), while the “Standard” and “Ultimate” starter kits throw in additional batteries and accessories. Once you sort through the various starter kit options and make your battery and color choices, you’ll have over 100 different prefilled cartomizers to choose from in almost every flavor under the sun. Moving forward you can continue to purchase prefilled cartridges or buy blanks and fill them yourself. E-liquids are obviously the cheapest option, but if convenience is your main priority, no one has more prefilled options than V4L.

Vapor King vs. Titan Performance

Vapor4Life claims their Vapor Titan is the new and improved version of the Vapor King, and although there are some noticeable visual differences, most notably the soft rubberized finish which actually feels quite comfortable in your hand, we’re not sure there are any other big improvements worth noting. They claim that it provides the “best vapor on the market,” but if anything the Vapor King seemed to produce slightly more vapor than the Titan. Battery life was a little longer with the Titan thanks to a built-in battery-saving mechanism, but when it kicks in there’s a noticeable drop in performance. Overall, both products are inline with most e-cigs in this class with a decent amount of vapor and battery life. Although we can’t say they’re the best, they’re definitely not the worst.

Vapor Zeus, Dial-A-Volt and More…

If the ‘cig-a-like’ Vapor King and Titan won’t fit your needs, V4L offers several larger, more advanced models to satisfy those with stronger tastes. The Vapor Zeus is Vapor4Life’s newest creation and the next step up, combining the simplicity of an automatic design with larger, more powerful 650, 900 and 1300mAh batteries. About the size of a cigar at 650mAh, it incorporates V4L’s unique ‘Smileomizer’ carts which hold 3.5ml or 6ml of juice. Available in fully automatic or dual (auto and manual) versions, the Vapor Zeus will provide hours of non-stop use and produce huge, thick clouds of vapor.

The Vapor4Life Dial-A-Volt setup is very similar to the Vapor Zeus except that you can adjust the voltage – between 3.2V to 4.8V. Just twist the dial at the bottom of the battery to select your voltage rating. Not only is it available in manual format, but the Dial-A-Volt is one of the few variable voltage devices available in an automatic version – with no button.

As you’d expect from larger 650, 900 and 1300mAh batteries, the Zeus and Dial-A-Volt perform much better than the smaller Vapor King and Titan. They last extremely long and we were thoroughly impressed with the thick clouds of vapor and excellent flavor produced by both models. The soft rubber end on the ‘Smileomizer’ carts is great for biting down on and holding the device in your mouth, but if you prefer tanks, those are an option too.

So Many Vapor 4 Life Options!

Vapor4Life has so many options that it might be a little bit confusing at first, but one of the best things about V4L is that they use KR808D (808) threading on virtually all of their products. This means that if you decide to change things up or switch to another product, it’s really easy to interchange parts, make upgrades and modify your setup. In addition, they have one of the widest selections of e-liquids and prefilled cartomizers available. With over 100 flavors in various PG/VG ratios, you’ll undoubtedly find flavors you enjoy. Plus, they offer more nicotine levels than most – 0, 4, 8, 11, 24 and 36mg.

It Gets a Little Confusing…

Although options are definitely a good thing, the Vapor4Life website isn’t exactly clear or easy to navigate. Trying to sort through the various products can be difficult, especially when it comes to their 100+ e-liquids. There are four different lines available: Premium Nobacco (80/20 PG/VG), Nobacco USA (USA-made 65/35 PG/VG), WOW Vapor (70/30 PG/VG), and WOW Vapor VG (100% VG). For those that aren’t sure about which e-liquid to choose, there isn’t a whole lot of information available to assist in the decision making process. And even if you understand the differences, it’s a bit difficult to navigate the website and find the appropriate PG/VG/nicotine mixtures.

During our testing we tried 12 different flavors in the Premium Nobacco and WOW Vapor lines. Although the Nobacco flavors have a slightly higher percentage of VG and should produce stronger flavors, we actually found that the WOW line was tastier and had more distinct flavoring. There’s undoubtedly some winners and losers in each of the V4L lines, so it’s possible that the Nobacco flavors we chose just weren’t the best options and the WOW flavors happened to taste better. In either case, individual flavor preferences will vary and we strongly recommend that you try one of Vapor4Life’s numerous variety packs before you commit to any one flavor.
