Aspire Feedlink Revvo Kit – Aspire Goes Squonk

Aspire has announced their first squonk mod… and social media is raving about the soon-to-be-released Aspire Feedlink Revvo Kit. Not only does it have a stylish, ergonomic design with colorful texturized side panels, but it comes with a modified bottom-feeding version of Aspire’s Revvo Tank. Like the standard tank, it incorporates the company’s innovative ARC (Aspire Radial Coil) Technology, and the industry is buzzing once again.

After what seemed like years of stagnant, less than stellar designs, the Aspire Feedlink Revvo Squonk Kit is an awesome follow-up to Aspire’s Skystar 210W Box Mod. Although it’s the company’s first attempt at a squonk mod, it certainly looks like a winner, and I, for one, can’t wait to get my hands on it.

The Aspire Feedlink Squonk Mod

Powered by a single 18650 battery, the Aspire Feedlink Squonk Mod is designed to operate like a mechanical mod, but it offers a number of built-in safety features that are normally associated with regulated devices.

The company hasn’t specified which safety features are included, but they have stated it features “five protections.” I’m assuming this includes short circuit, low volt, reverse polarity and possibly a 10 second fire limit.

The Aspire Feedlink Squonk Mod is ergonomically designed and similar to a pistol-style device. Although it lacks a trigger-style firing button, you can easily squeeze the 7ml squonk bottle with your front fingers, while the top-mounted firing button is perfectly positioned for thumb activation.

On the bottom you’ll find a threaded battery cap and quick-release squonk cover. Just give the cover a counter-clockwise twist and it releases a cartridge containing the silicone squonk bottle for quick and easy refills.

The Aspire Revvo Boost Tank

I’m assuming that the Aspire Feedlink Squonk Mod will eventually be sold alone, but at this point the company has only announced a full Aspire Feedlink Revvo Kit. The modified Revvo Tank included with the kit is being referred to as the Revvo Boost Tank, and other than it’s reduced 2ml capacity and bottom feed squonk pin, it appears to be the same as the original Revvo Tank.

The big selling point for the Revvo Tank system is it’s innovative ARC (Aspire Radial Coil) platform. Unlike traditional coils, Aspire’s ARC coils have a horizontal orientation with a disc-shaped, “stove-top” design that provides increased surface area for improved flavor and vapor production. I haven’t had a chance to test them out yet, but the reviews seem to be generally positive.

The tank has a unique, spring-loaded top-fill design and includes triple top adjustable airflow with a 12mm wide bore drip tip / top cap.

A Safe & Attractive Squonker

Based upon it’s looks and all of the positive feedback on social media, I have a pretty good feeling that the Aspire Feedlink Revvo Kit is going to be a hot seller. Scheduled for release around the middle of May, it’s unique ergonomic design and extra built-in safety features are sure to appeal to a broad range of vapers – both experienced squonkers and newbies alike. It appears simple and straight forward to use; plus it has an 7ml squonk bottle with a 2ml tank on top!

If you like the idea of a mechanical squonker but worry about using an unregulated device, the Aspire Feedlink Squonk Mod Kit could be a great solution. I’m guessing that this will be the first squonk mod for many vapers, but even experienced squonkers (like me) are excited to test this bad boy out.
