Eleaf iStick Pico S 100W Box Mod Kit Review

Known for it’s compact size and simplicity, the Pico Mod is getting a major overhaul. The new Eleaf iStick Pico S Box Mod Kit is a completely revamped version of the original, with all new styling, a removable textured battery tube (18650 or 21700), decorative color LED lights and a vastly improved 0.025 rapid fire speed.

Unlike the previous versions, the Pico S is anything but simple and features a bold and aggressive new design.

Recently announced at the Shenzhen eCig Expo in China, the Eleaf iStick Pico S 100W Box Mod Kit appears to be a huge step forward for the Pico line. It stays true to the original with its raised battery cap design, but it features a completely overhauled chassis and an upgraded chip that makes it even more efficient.

More Details About The Pico S

One of the most obvious (and cool) features of the Eleaf iStick Pico S Mod is the removable battery tube that can accommodate either a single 21700 or 18650 battery (with adapter).

Not only does it provide added versatility by allowing you to easily swap battery types, but the independent tube design and “corroded” texture add to the unique aesthetics. Just thread the tube in or out.

The battery tube appears to be encapsulated in a black sleeve, but I’m not sure if it’s painted or made of of ABS. Either way, it provides a nice contrast and contains five LED lights on each side that can be customized to your liking.

You can choose from 7 colors and they appear to pulse at regular intervals when activated.

Thanks to 20700 compatibility, the Eleaf iStick Pico S Box Mod isn’t as compact as the original, but it can handle atomizers up to 26.5mm in diameter without any overhang. The increased size also enabled a larger OLED screen; and another huge benefit is the placement of the adjustment buttons, which are no longer awkwardly located on the bottom – but right underneath the display.

The iStick Pico S Mod will offer up to 100W of output and include full temperature control (Ni/Ti/SS) with 3-memory modes. A spec sheet with all of its functions hasn’t been released yet, but Eleaf has stated that it will have a rapid firing speed of only 0.025 seconds – a huge and and welcomed improvement!

Although a release date hasn’t been set, the Eleaf iStick Pico S 100W Box Mod will be sold alone or as a complete kit with the 2ml / 6.5ml Eleaf Ello Vate Tank. It’s top-filled and will feature Eleaf’s new HW-Net and HW-MultiHole coils that appear to resemble mesh. Hopefully that means BIG FLAVOR and improved longevity.

A Pico Redesign Was Long Overdue

A regular suggestion on best vape box mod list, the iStick Pico Mod was long overdue for a redesign. Eleaf has offered a number of different versions since 2016, but other than the Pico 25, they never seemed to stray away from the minimalist design. That’s definitely not the case with the Eleaf iStick Pico S Box Mod Kit!

Personally, I think its a great looking device and a whole lot of others agree!
