The iJoy Avenger 270 Box Mod Kit – A Vape Mod With AI?

Likely to be one of the next big trends in vaping, iJoy’s soon to be released device – the iJoy Avenger 270 Box Mod Kit – incorporates the industry’s first voice control chip set. Touted by the company as the “First AI Vape Mod,” referring to it as “artificially intelligent” is slightly misleading, but people are sure to be interested in the simplicity (and cool factor) offered by using a voice controlled vape mod. So how does voice control work?

Although the details are limited and we can only guess how it will perform, iJoy released a list of voice commands that can be used to operate the Avenger Mod. The company says that there are no buttons involved – you just speak to activate. These are some of the iJoy Avenger Mod’s voice control commands:

UPDATE: The Ijoy Avenger Mod includes traditional adjustment buttons, but “Hello iJoy” will activate speech recognition to use the voice commands above.

More Details About the Avenger

Set for release towards the beginning of May, the iJoy Avenger 270 Kit has a unique and futuristic design that’s reminiscent of it’s Marvel-inspired namesake. It has clean, sharp lines and an attractive two-tone chassis with a large, multi-color LED light that surrounds the bottom of the display screen.

Not only does iJoy Avenger Mod offer cool and unique aesthetics, but it appears to provide plenty of customization options too. Most notable are the different modes for the LED light bar. You can select from various colors, and in “Music Mode” the lights will actually flicker and dance in response to sound. Pretty neat! I can only guess what it does in “Romantic Mode”, but I’m excited to find out ❤

For the maximum power output of 234W, the iJoy Avenger 270 Box Mod is designed to house two 20700 batteries. Although 20700s are not the standard (yet), they’ve have become increasingly popular because of their improved capacity and outstanding longevity. From what I understand the complete iJoy Avenger 270 Kit will include 20700 cells; but it also comes with an 18650 adapter.

Also included with the iJoy Avenger Starter Kit is the 25mm Avenger Sub-Ohm Tank. Although it doesn’t appear to be groundbreaking, it looks like an attractive setup with up 3.2ml of capacity (4.7ml with bubble glass), bottom adjustable airflow and multiple coil head designs – including a 0.15 ohm mesh coil.

Voice Control – The Next Big Trend?

It’s tough to say whether or not voice control vaping will catch on, but the technology being introduced with the iJoy Avenger 270 Box Mod definitely seems promising. If it works as advertised, voice activation could be just another way to simplify the vaping process – and who doesn’t love that? I can certainly see it being attractive to new users who are intimidated by complicated vape mods, but even an experience user like me can see the benefits of voice control.

The big question is, will it work smoothly and efficiently enough to become a mainstay in the vaping industry. The last thing we need is malfunctioning devices or accidental firings caused by inadvertent voice commands. Only time will tell, but I’m sure we’ll see more voice-controlled devices in the near future.
